Harrison Centre paves the way for a Pay Day
This week our trustee Daniel Harrison spoke to David Little, a former student at the Harrison Centre for Social Mobility in Sunderland.
After completing his course, David has secured a job at local logistics firm Vantec. He’s enjoying the challenge as well as the opportunities ahead of him.
David’s role came about following a new partnership between the Beacon of Light in Sunderland, where the Harrison Centre for Social Mobility is based, and Vantec. As well as training at the Harrison Centre, the course includes a practical element at Vantec with those completing the programme guaranteed a job.
In a video for the Harrison Foundation Facebook page, David explains how he got the job and shares his tips for others who are looking for work.
