Harrison Foundation

How we raise money

The Harrison Foundation relies on money from private donors and organisations.

Our donors include the following:

  • The Harrison family: As well as setting up the foundation and managing it as trustees, the Harrisons are the singularly major donor.
  • Positive Solutions: The 1700 Independent Financial Advisers of this national advice firm used the Harrison Foundation to collect a significant amount of donations on their behalf in 2007.
  • True Potential: Have kindly made the foundation a partner in the firm, enabling us to share in potential earnings and share value.

Because we believe in the power of economies of scale we regularly run public fund raising initiatives to reach a set amount. By collecting money in this way and then administrating how it is paid, the Harrison Foundation and its donors can be confident that the money donated has been given in the most effective and efficient way possible.
